Industrial ElectricianPosition at JBS USA INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN HOURS:Work in all areas of the plant - flexible as needed or requiredAll shifts available- 8-hour days, 5-7 days per week, and needed/scheduledDUTIES:Diagnose and troubleshoot all electrical issues and problems, including PLCs, motors, sensors, and wiring.Perform regular preventive maintenance to ensure machinery is working in optimal performanceRead and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manualsImprove, install, and upgrade machinery performanceTroubleshoot and solve equipment issues with other maintenance team membersFollow and comply with safety guidelines and company protocols such as lockout/tagout, electrical work, and equipment operations.Maintain records of electrical repairs and maintenance performed.Assist in the implementation of new equipment installations and modificationsEnsure minimal downtime on production by responding promptly to equipment breakdownsAbility to work in confined spaces.Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.Perform other duties as needed or assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Associate's Degree in Electrical or ElectronicsMinnesota Journeyman or Master's license not required, but a plusAbility to read and understand electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Ability to work with advanced mathematics, all types of circuit drawing, and test equipmentIn-depth knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, and machinery.Experience working with PLCs, VFDs, and HMI systems.Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, including OSHA and NFPA standardsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving.Understand and comply with Company policy and proceduresGood communication skills, both verbal and writtenGood work history and attendanceTeam PlayerResume requiredREQUIRED: Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.
