Account Executive - Automotive New York City | Outside Sales | Automotive A leading national media and marketing organization is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business and build relationships with automotive dealerships throughout the NYC market. The company offers a broad portfolio of broadcast, digital, streaming, social, event, sponsorship, and custom marketing solutions- giving automotive clients the ability to build integrated campaigns tailored to their specific goals. Build and grow relationships with automotive dealerships, dealer groups, Owners, and General Managers Prospect and develop new business through lead lists, referrals, networking, and consistent in-person dealership visits Consult with clients to understand their business goals and create customized marketing strategies Present and sell integrated solutions across broadcast, digital, streaming, events, social, and custom content Maintain a strong sales pipeline and manage opportunities through Salesforce Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative campaigns and deliver measurable results Develop and nurture long-term client relationships while identifying opportunities for account growth 2+ years of automotive industry/sales experience preferred ~ Experience selling to automotive dealerships or working with automotive-focused companies ~ Comfortable building relationships with Owners and General Managers ~ Strong consultative sales approach and ability to think strategically beyond selling individual products ~ Existing automotive relationships in the NYC market are a strong plus ~ Willingness to spend significant time in the field and on the road (no overnight travel) Ideal backgrounds include: automotive technology/advertising companies, automotive-focused agencies, OEM/manufacturer field sales, or media sales with a strong automotive focus.
