We are partnering with an established, well-backed financial services organization seeking an Accounting Manager to lead its day-to-day accounting function and help support the continued evolution of the department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting leader who enjoys developing teams, strengthening processes and remaining technically engaged in general ledger accounting and financial reporting. The Accounting Manager will oversee a team of approximately four accounting professionals and work closely with senior finance leadership. The position also offers exposure to international operations and the potential to take on broader leadership responsibilities over time. Responsibilities Lead, develop and manage a team of approximately four accounting professionals Oversee day-to-day general ledger accounting and monthly, quarterly and annual close Review journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements and variance analysis Support accounting and reporting across U.S. and international entities Manage intercompany accounting, consolidations and international reporting Maintain appropriate accounting controls and support internal and external audits Play a key role in an ongoing ERP implementation and systems modernization Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting and automation Partner with finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis Delegate effectively while remaining hands-on when necessary

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required Approximately 710+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred 3+ years of experience directly managing and developing accounting professionals preferred Strong general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting experience Demonstrated ability to lead, delegate and hold a team accountable ERP implementation or systems-conversion experience is highly desirable Sage experience strongly preferred Financial services, banking, lending, consumer finance, fintech or related industry experience is a plus CPA highly desirable
