Provision Arbor Care is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Tree Climber/Crew Leader Trainer to lead crews in the field while helping shape the next generation of tree care professionals. About the Role

As a Crew Leader Trainer, you'll combine hands-on tree care expertise with leadership and training responsibilities. You'll lead a crew through daily operations while actively mentoring climbers and ground crew members, ensuring they develop the skills, safety habits, and professionalism that define our team.

Responsibilities

• Report punctually each day, ready to lead a full day of work
• Lead and supervise a tree service team, including climbers and ground crew, executing tree care tasks safely and efficiently
• Perform professional tree care (pruning, removals, cabling, etc.) in accordance with ANSI A300 and ISA Best Management Practices
• Train and mentor new and existing team members on climbing techniques, rigging, equipment usage, safety protocols, and company procedures
• Model and reinforce best-in-class safety practices, including proper PPE use and equipment maintenance
• Maintain and account for all tools and equipment used in daily operations
• Communicate effectively with clients, addressing questions and ensuring satisfaction throughout the service process
• Organize and oversee daily work schedules, crew assignments, and project timelines
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, employee time, equipment usage, and incidents
• Provide feedback and coaching to help crew members grow into skilled, safety-focused professionals

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required; Class A CDL and clean driving record preferred
• ISA Arborist Certification preferred, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in arboriculture with strong proficiency in climbing, rigging, pruning, and removals
• Prior experience training, mentoring, or leading a crew strongly preferred
• Physical strength, agility, balance, and depth perception required for climbing and rigging work
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork
• In-depth knowledge of:
• • ANSI A300 Standards
  • ANSI Z133 Standards
  • OSHA General Industry Safety Standards
  • ISA Best Management Practices
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with electrical hazards and safe operating procedures near electrical conductors
