Pharmacist Address: Location anywhere in US Job Description Ensure accuracy of case setup and clinical review of Medicare appeals cases by reviewing internal notes or fax requests for pertinent information. Provide clear and concise documentation and contact providers to obtain clinical details for case decisions. Adhere to work instructions and Medicare guidelines to ensure proper case processing. Maintain compliance with CMS-mandated timelines and departmental productivity and quality standards. Apply clinical judgment using drug compendia resources, work instructions, and CMS Medicare guidance. Participate in development discussions and receive feedback from supervisors to support continuous improvement. Critical Information Remote work, fully remote position in the US. Work hours: Business hours 7am - 8pm EST Monday - Friday and 7am - 4:30pm EST Saturday and Sunday, set rotation. Virtual interviews via Teams with supervisors. Knowledge of Access, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, and Word is preferable. Must have active pharmacist license in the state of residence. Attendance is crucial, especially during the first 8-10 weeks of training, with scheduled hours 9am-5:30pm EST, Monday through Friday. Post-training shifts may include weekend work or rotation, with availability between 7am and 8pm EST. Dedicated quiet workspace at home required. Wired internet with minimum 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speed; screenshot required. Ability to focus without interruptions for entire shift. Experience in data entry and navigating multiple applications, possibly with outbound calls. Demonstrated engagement and positive attitude for team environment. Education/Licenses Needed Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm D. Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of residence, including license details and dates.
