Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurses are responsible for providing high-quality acute patient care in a fast-paced ER setting. They must efficiently assess, treat, and stabilize patients while adhering to safety and clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival using evidence-based judgment.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and facility policies.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all certification and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the state of employment.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of full-time ER or Critical Care experience.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; willing to obtain any needed certifications.
• Maintain proof of COVID vaccination.
• Demonstrate excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work flexible 12-hour shifts with variable start times.
