Job Summary

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in an urban healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients, including those requiring ventilator management, trach/ventilation support, and PICC/central line management. The position offers a rotating shift schedule, with every other weekend required, and a focus on neonates, infants, and pediatric patient populations.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shifts with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Active RN license in Maryland or Compact license, BLS certification, CPI certification; 2 years of neonatal intensive care experience, including experience with trach/vents and PICCs/central lines.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech charting system, community hospital experience, trauma level II experience.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required within the specialty/sister units as needed.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include the administration of blood products, TPN/ILs management, seizure management, ventilator management, and neonatal assessments. Candidates must be comfortable working with neonates, infants, and pediatric patients with various diagnoses such as prematurity, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS, and BLD/CLD. Proper certification and compliance documentation are required prior to start.
