Specialist Child Care Attendant Location: Stowe, VT, United States Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 Shift Type: Full Time, hours available Required Experience: 1+ years with children, high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Job Summary: Do you love caring for young children in a fun and safe environment? The Experienced Child Care Attendant is responsible for the personal needs of children ages 2 months to 6 years (feeding, sleeping, diapering) and for various children’s activities such as art, story time, games, and outside play. Responsible for the personal needs of the children, including feeding, sleeping, and diapering. Maintain a clean, safe, and fun environment while complying with childcare rules and regulations. Communicate with parents and coworkers regarding the care of the children. Deliver varied children's activities such as art, story time, games, and outside play. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Minimum of 1+ years of experience with children. High school diploma or equivalent – required. Experience working with children – required. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds frequently throughout the day; position requires lifting and carrying children while playing or in the day care. Age at least 18 years. Housing availability: yes.
