Job Description
The Commercial Real Estate Financing Attorney plays a vital role in facilitating the financing and legal transactions related to commercial property. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various financing documents and agreements while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The attorney collaborates with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to secure and structure real estate financing arrangements that support business goals.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate loan documents and related contracts
- Advise clients on legal implications of financing transactions and regulatory requirements
- Conduct due diligence to identify risks associated with real estate financing
- Coordinate with lenders, borrowers, title companies, and other relevant parties
- Ensure legal compliance in all financing arrangements and closings
- Resolve legal issues related to property liens, mortgages, and foreclosures as needed
- Stay updated on evolving real estate finance laws, market trends, and industry practices
