Maintenance Mechanic

Manassas Virginia 20110

Pay: $75K - $100K annually

Shift: M-F, 8AM to 5PM

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Direct, hands-on experience maintaining encapsulation machines
• Preventative maintenance experience specifically on encapsulation equipment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Experience working with machines such as NJP-3800 and/or Syntagon/Bosch
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment independently rather than immediately relying on the equipment manufacturer/vendor
• Strong understanding of encapsulation machinery and its operation
• Ability to identify problems, diagnose root causes, and execute repairs

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on encapsulation equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues and identify root causes.
• Diagnose equipment problems and complete repairs independently.
• Maintain and service NJP-3800, Syntagon/Bosch, or comparable encapsulation equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Support equipment reliability, uptime, and production efficiency.
• Identify worn, damaged, or malfunctioning components and replace or repair as needed.
• Work closely with production personnel to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Support equipment validation activities as needed.
• Follow applicable safety, quality, and pharmaceutical manufacturing procedures.
• Work with equipment vendors when necessary while maintaining the ability to independently troubleshoot and repair machinery.
