OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Lee's Summit, MO by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Based in Lee's Summit, MO, join HMD Trucking to run long-haul dry van freight nationwide. You'll manage over‑the‑road lanes, deliver on schedule, and keep freight secure while upholding DOT and company safety standards. Drivers operate modern sleeper tractors (under 3 years) equipped with APUs and inverters and receive dependable in‑house maintenance support.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate dry van tractor-trailer on OTR routes and secure cargo for transit.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections, complete electronic logging (ELD) and required paperwork.
• Coordinate with dispatch to meet delivery windows and maintain on-time performance.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable experience.
