Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy interventions following each patient's plan of care to help them restore mobility and achieve their treatment goals.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately, ensuring continuity of care.
• Empower patients with education and home exercise programs that support their recovery long after your shift ends.
• Keep the supervising PT in the loop with clear, timely communication about patient status.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by following infection control and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Maryland PTA license (or the ability to obtain one)
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with your interdisciplinary team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid foundation in physical therapy techniques and modalities
• Genuine passion for patient care and improving quality of life
• Meticulous documentation skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to connect with patients and teammates
• Dedication to infection control and safety best practices
• Experience implementing treatment plans and adapting to patient needs
