Details Work in a large OR department with 41 operating rooms at a Level 1 Trauma Center Cases include General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastics Patient ratio is 1:1 Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts with 6:45 AM start times; occasional float to 8:45 AM or 10:45 AM starts Occasional float to nights, no more than 3 shifts per contract Floating required to other OR suites within the same health system Weekend work required per unit needs On-call required per unit needs, approximately 6 shifts per 8-week schedule period Epic EMR experience required Requirements Active CO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand Current AHA BLS certification required Minimum 3 years of OR experience required Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience required Epic EMR experience required Additional Information First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Any nurse who previously completed a full-year assignment at this facility must wait at least one year before returning Maximum of 10 RTO days allowed per contract RTO is not permitted during the following blackout periods: December 21 – January 3, March 14–21, May 8–11, and May 21–27 Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but will be placed at a local bill rate American Traveler Job ID P-722269.
