Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) , established in 1969, is a premier institution dedicated to advancing aviation maintenance through exceptional education and training. With 15 campuses nationwide, AIM accounts for 20% of all students attending FAA‑certified Airframe & Powerplant schools across the country and graduates nearly one in four certified aircraft technicians annually. At AIM, you will join a dynamic team of educators and leaders committed to delivering top‑notch training and ensuring student success. Monday – Thursday: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (2 days) and 10:00 am to 7:00 pm (2 days) Friday : 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Saturday: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (one to two times a month) Compensation $22 – $30 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors. Admissions Representative – Role Summary You will connect prospective students with AIM programs, working to meet key performance indicators such as outreach volume, contact‑to‑appointment conversion, application completion, and enrollment success. The role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and delivery of exceptional service in a fast‑paced, metric‑driven environment. Key Duties Evaluate prospective students for enrollment eligibility and program fit. Conduct outreach via phone, email, and in‑person or virtual meetings to support applicants through each step of the admissions process. Achieve and maintain enrollment goals by leading through personal performance. Guide students from inquiry to enrollment, including appointment setting, interviews, application assistance, and follow‑up. Track student application status and ensure completion of required documentation. Assist with recruitment events such as open houses and career fairs. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED. Associate’s degree or higher preferred. Experience Proven sales or customer service experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs such as conversion rates, outreach goals, and closing ratios. One or more years of admissions experience in a for‑profit, post‑secondary educational setting preferred. Skill set Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of connecting with diverse audiences. Excellent time‑management and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems. Positive, team‑oriented approach and willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
