Job Overview The Member Experience Associate is responsible for the entire Member Experience, serving as the face of the club. You will be the first person a member sees when they walk in, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Qualifications A deep down passion for helping others. Positive upbeat personality. Effective communication skills with customers, coworkers, and managers. Proficiency in multitasking. Member experience oriented. Punctual, responsible, and detail oriented. CPR/AED training preferred. Prior experience in a retail or hospitality setting is helpful. Responsibilities Greeting and checking in members as they arrive. Resolving customer issues effectively. Membership sales and retention. Following up with prospects. Selling in-store merchandise such as Retro Smoothies, cooler drinks, pro shop items, etc. Ensuring a safe and clean health‑club environment for members and staff. Opening and closing the facility if scheduled. Following company policies and procedures. All Member Experience Associates are required to wear a company staff shirt with either khaki or black athletic pants. Sneakers must be worn; boots, heels, or sandals are not allowed. Associates must be well groomed and neat. Note on openers and closers: Opening employees must be present 15 minutes before the club’s opening time to complete the Opening Checklist.
