Role Description The Customer Service Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Clayton, MO. This position is responsible for responding to inbound calls and inquiries, providing timely, accurate information about Emerest services, and ensuring a positive experience for individuals, families, and caregivers. Day-to-day tasks include resolving service-related questions, documenting interactions in internal systems, coordinating with clinical and administrative teams, and following up to confirm that concerns are addressed. The specialist will handle scheduling-related requests, assist with navigating programs such as Emerest GUIDE, and elevate complex issues when needed. This role involves maintaining professional phone etiquette, adhering to company policies and privacy standards, and contributing to continuous improvement in customer service processes. Qualifications Ability to provide high-quality Customer Service and Customer Support focused on empathy, clarity, and reliability. Skills in enhancing Customer Experience and promoting Customer Satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving. Strong Phone Etiquette and professional communication skills, including active listening and clear, concise speaking. Prior experience in healthcare, home care, or related service environments is beneficial. Comfort with using call systems, CRM or scheduling software, and basic office technologies. Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple inquiries in a fast-paced setting. Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and interact respectfully with diverse populations.
