Inventory Specialist

Inventory Specialist We are currently seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our team at our Kent, WA warehouse. This role will develop inventory strategy and provide inventory support for McKinstry’s projects, departments, and subsidiaries. Responsibilities Coordinate inventory requirements and procurement details with vendors and customers. Create inventory budgets and maintain the company’s stock ratio. Track the transportation and distribution of inventory. Oversee records of all stocks and compile evaluation reports. Perform daily auditing of inventory. Provide supervision of the inventory cycle counting, accounting and reporting of inventory surplus, product returns, damages, cost movement of company products, evaluation and purchase of invoicing details, restocking and filling order forms, and estimation of potential stock requirements according to sales reports. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications BA/BS degree in Administration, Material Management, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field required. Basic knowledge of barcode equipment required. Experience working with inventory software required. Strong calculative and analytical skills required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to manage and meet deadlines with effective time management required. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Project required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred. Demonstrated supervisory skills to include production line methods and staff training preferred. Compensation The pay range for this position is $24.36 - $39.28 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is considered non-exempt and will be paid hourly. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
