Sales and Service Banker – Wayne, PA Sales and Service Bankers serve as trusted advisors to customers, building strong, long‑lasting relationships by understanding their financial needs and goals. The role involves providing tailored solutions for banking, lending, and investment products while delivering exceptional customer service, minimizing risk and defending against fraud. Responsibilities Assist customers with various financial needs, process teller transactions, and identify cross‑sell opportunities. Resolve issues and educate customers on digital banking tools. Collaborate with team members to drive branch sales targets and contribute to overall branch success. Meet the customer’s financial needs for transactional, servicing, and product activities. Identify opportunities to grow banking relationships through branch activities, including calls, transactions, account support, portfolio management, and partner referrals. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions. Ensure an elevated customer experience, delivering personalized, seamless, and attentive service. Foster customer loyalty by addressing concerns and providing timely resolutions. Engage customers with digital platforms to enhance interactions and educate them on self‑service options. Communicate clearly and effectively with customers in person, over the phone, or through digital channels. Perform teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances; assist with custodianship, audits, and other operational tasks. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk and fraud defense. Support nearby branch locations as business needs arise. Qualifications High school diploma or GED – Required. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent through work experience, training, or military service – Preferred. 12+ months of selling products and/or services – Required. 6+ months of Retail Banking sales, financial services sales, or consultative relationship sales experience with proven success – Required. 6+ months of customer service experience in a high volume, fast‑paced environment – Required. 6+ months of cash handling experience – Required. Established relationship‑building skills with a focus on customer experience and loyalty. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others. Ability to learn and apply sales techniques to recommend products and services that meet customer needs. Experience in cross‑selling products and services. Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment. Excellent communication, consultative and influence skills both verbal and written. Professional, credible, and trustworthy image at all times. Proficiency in digital tools and technology for customer engagement. Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures. Ability to identify and escalated risk concerns to appropriate channels. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Computer proficiency and basic math skills. Available for branch hours, including weekends and evenings. Benefits Base Pay Range: Minimum $34,500.00 – Maximum $53,000.00 USD.
