Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Location: Strawberry Plains, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 8-hour Day Shift, with a guarantee of 36 hours and the expectation of working up to 40 hours per week.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist with experience in outpatient settings to join our team. This role encompasses providing evaluations and developing treatment plans tailored to the needs of our diverse patient population, primarily focusing on general orthopedics.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality physical therapy evaluations and treatment interventions for orthopedic patients.
• Maintain productivity expectations of 60 visits per week, averaging 12-14 patients per day.
• Manage follow-up visits, including double-booking strategies as necessary.
• Adhere to protocols that require prior approval from the director before overtime hours are worked.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Preferred outpatient experience; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Acceptance of first-time travelers is welcomed.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
