Change Management Lead

Position Overview

Insight Global is seeking a Change Management and Training Lead to support the implementation of a new Air Permitting and Compliance operating model for a major energy client.

The role will focus on preparing employees to transition from specialized responsibilities toward broader facility based ownership. The consultant will develop role based training, change communications, adoption activities, and readiness assessments that enable the client team to independently execute the new workflows.

The ideal candidate understands that successful transformation requires more than documentation. They must be able to translate new processes into practical training and help employees understand how their responsibilities are changing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop the overall change management and training approach.
• Conduct stakeholder and change impact assessments.
• Identify training requirements by role.
• Partner with the Compliance SME and Process Consultant to convert SOPs into practical training materials.
• Develop role based training content.
• Develop quick reference guides, job aids, and facilitator materials.
• Coordinate training schedules and participant groups.
• Facilitate instructor led and virtual training sessions.
• Support cross training across facility responsibilities.
• Help employees understand changes in ownership, responsibilities, and workflow expectations.
• Develop communications supporting the future state operating model.
• Capture stakeholder feedback and adoption concerns.
• Track training completion and readiness.
• Support workload and role transition communications.
• Maintain change management logs and adoption documentation.
• Support go live readiness assessments.
• Provide targeted reinforcement during the transition period.
• Document lessons learned and remaining adoption risks.

Required Qualifications

• 5 or more years of organizational change management, training, learning and development, or transformation experience.
• Experience supporting operational or process transformation programs.
• Demonstrated experience developing role based training materials.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
• Experience conducting stakeholder assessments and change impact analysis.
• Ability to translate complex processes into understandable training content.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Experience supporting go live or operational transition activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prosci certification or equivalent change management training.
• Experience within energy, utilities, engineering, environmental services, or regulated industries.
• Experience supporting workforce redesign or organizational transformation.
