Project Manager

Our teams take on challenging projects that keep communities safe, supply chains moving, and the country connected. Key Duties and Responsibilities Instill safety as a top priority. Manage and support a team consisting of Project Engineers, Superintendents, and project staff. Track and report project progress, budgets, and needs with Operation Managers. Build relationships and communicate with owners or owner’s representatives. Identify and secure necessary approvals for all changes in project scope, budget, and/or schedule. Provide monthly billings, cash flow projections, and process change orders. Assist with updating monthly schedules. Coordinate equipment and staff needs with regional and on-site management. Serve as the project representative with clients at meetings, job walks, and other correspondence. Other duties as assigned. Experience, Education & Skills Preferred 3 years of experience in highway heavy construction as a Project Engineer or Construction Manager. Positive attitude and excellent motivation skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize discrepancies. Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience. Desire to grow and develop a career and mentor other coworkers. Valid driver’s license. Must ensure compliance with CMMC, FAR, and Accounting Standards in all federal efforts. Working Conditions Location: Southwest Region; travel required. Construction Site: Physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach, and climb; exposed to high noise levels. Construction Site Office: Extensive sitting at desk and computer; some standing, bending at the waist, stooping, and reaching required; ability to lift 5–20 pounds occasionally.
