Travel Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)

Vallejo, CA

We’re seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for a 13-week travel assignment in Vallejo, California . This role is ideal for individuals experienced in acute or long-term mental healthcare who excel at patient interaction and de-escalation techniques.

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks

• Shift: 5x8s

• Location: Vallejo, CA

• High School Diploma/GED – Required

• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent – Preferred

• 2+ years experience in acute or long-term mental healthcare – Preferred

• Licensure: LVN/LPN or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) – Required

• CPI/TEAM Certification – Required

• BLS (AHA or ARC) – Required

• Provide direct care to behavioral health patients

• Use de-escalation techniques and less restrictive interventions

• Support nursing staff in patient monitoring and safety

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and interventions

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team
