Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic tech and media location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access activity and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Pay Rate: $14.42 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including office areas, production or media-related spaces, parking areas, and perimeter access points, as conditions vary by site.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support access control procedures, and verify credentials in accordance with site policies.
• Assist with incident reporting, visitor inquiries, and/or operational support tasks while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced technology, media, and telecommunications location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
