CRNA Opportunity At Cumberland Valley Surgery Center
Cumberland Valley Surgery Center is a same-day, multispecialty surgery center based in Hagerstown, MD. It is the longest-serving facility of its type for the community. The center features two treatment rooms providing local/monitored anesthesia care, one operating room designed for procedures requiring general anesthesia, a preoperative area, and a post-anesthesia care area.

Case Assignments: Pain management, orthopedic, general, dental/oral, gynecology, plastic and reconstructive, podiatry, and endoscopy
Shifts: Monday-Friday (8-hour shifts). No call. Cross credential at other local ASCs (Frederick Surgery Center).

Responsibilities:
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements:
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
