Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a PCU / Stepdown unit assignment in Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care to patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment but not intensive care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in the PCU/Stepdown unit
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Respond quickly to changes in patient conditions
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans

Requirements

• License: Active RN license (NC or compact)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years recent PCU or Stepdown
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (required)
• Skills: Cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV/PICC care, titration of drips
• Charting: Epic preferred
