Located in Fairfield, OH Pay: $19 Job Full Description Job Title: SHIPPING / RECEIVING CLERK Location: Fairfield, OH Compensation: Starting at $19hr Job Description:- Receives and inspects incoming shipments for discrepancies and damages and
reports problems promptly to the appropriate person. - Prepares items accurately for shipment according to customer orders/instructions
by retrieving from the warehouse, packaging, weighing on a scale, and documenting
correct shipment details. - Stores materials and supplies within the warehouse according to part number
and/or description by safely performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and
stacking by hand or safely using material handling equipment. - Loads and unloads delivery trailers/trucks by hand or equipment as needed.
- Sets up all courier services or trucking companies depending on production
schedules to ship and deliver product to meet customer expectations. - Maintains the warehouse and receiving area.
- May have to pick parts for shipments.
- Band/shrink wrap shipments and use of basic hand/power tools as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day Prior shipping and receiving experience required
• Experience operating a variety of forklifts, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment
