In this contract opportunity, you’ll provide high-quality physical therapy services for students, focusing on ensuring access to education and enhancing physical capabilities. Service requirements are just 30 minutes, twice each month—offering you a manageable schedule and the chance to foster valuable relationships within the school community.

What we’re seeking:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP process and compliance
• Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with school staff, families, and students
• Ability to effectively manage flexible, short-duration sessions
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Adaptability and professionalism in a dynamic school environment

What you’ll do:

• Deliver targeted physical therapy services to students as prescribed in their Individualized Education Programs
• Assess students’ needs and create intervention plans that promote mobility and participation in academic activities
• Document all services and progress within required timelines and formats
• Consult with teachers, related service providers, and family members to support holistic student care
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed to share insights and make recommendations
• Remain up to date on best practices and regulatory compliance related to school-based therapy
