As a Repair Technician, you'll help transform returned mobile offices and modular buildings into clean, safe, customer-ready units.
Your Daily Responsibilities Include:

\uD83D\uDD28 Inspect trailers and modular units to identify repair needs
\uD83D\uDD28 Perform carpentry repairs on walls, floors, doors, trim, and structural components
\uD83D\uDD28 Complete basic electrical repairs including outlets, switches, lighting, and breakers
\uD83D\uDD28 Repair and install plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water systems
\uD83D\uDD28 Troubleshoot and perform minor HVAC repairs and maintenance
\uD83D\uDD28 Replace damaged windows, flooring, fixtures, doors, and building components
\uD83D\uDD28 Conduct preventative maintenance to improve long-term performance
\uD83D\uDD28 Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
\uD83D\uDD28 Track completed repairs and materials used
\uD83D\uDD28 Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
\uD83D\uDD28 Work with the production team to meet project deadlines and quality standards
\uD83D\uDCAA What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications

1+ year of experience in construction, maintenance, remodeling, roofing, skilled trades, or general repair work
Experience safely using hand tools and power tools
Basic carpentry skills
Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair experience
Basic plumbing repair and installation experience
HVAC troubleshooting or repair knowledge
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
Bonus Experience

Experience in any of the following is a plus:
Maintenance Technician

This role combines shop, yard, and occasional field work, providing a variety of hands-on projects throughout the day.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Syracuse, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
