Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Hospital
This position is based in a leading hospital recognized for its commitment to providing high-quality clinical care. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced hospital environment.
This is a 13-week contract position in Asheville, NC, with a shift from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive nursing assessments and care to patients.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitoring patient progress and communicating any changes to the healthcare team.
- Educating patients and their families regarding health management and care plans.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required experience/certifications/licensure include:
- Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Previous nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
