At a time ofmultiple, large scale digital transformation, infrastructure andinnovative clinical reform programs and initiatives being deliveredacross WA Health, the Department of Health has recently appointed anew Assistant Director General, Chief Digital Officer and ismobilising the new Digital Health Division. It holds responsibilityfor digital strategy, prioritisation,planningand designas well as the implementation and assurance of major WA Health ICTprojects and will play a pivotal role in strengthening digitalgovernance, investment oversight, demand prioritisation, deliverycapability and maturity uplift across WA Health. In additionto the roles described below, more opportunities are anticipated toarise in the near future across our priority functions, includingmobilisation of an enterprise Program Management Office, anddelivery of the WA Health Digital Strategy 2020-2030. Position Description The CyberSecurity team within the Digital Health Division providessystem-wide coordination, oversight and support for cyber securityacross the WA health system. This includes contributing to cyberstrategy, governance, assurance activities and the delivery ofuplift initiatives in line with Government priorities. We areseeking two PSA Level 6 positions to support this work. These rolesoperate across a mix of program assurance and project deliveryactivities and will contribute to strengthening cyber securitycapability across the health system. PSOLevel 6 Senior Project Officer – Cyber Security, Digital HealthDivision Supportingthe planning and delivery of cyber security initiatives, includingcoordination of activities, stakeholder engagement, and developmentof project artefacts and reporting. This includes contributing toimplementation activities and supporting alignment across multiplestakeholders. PSOLevel 6 Program Officer – ICT Assurance, Digital HealthDivision Supportingsystem-wide assurance activities, including governance, risk andcompliance reporting, audit coordination, and monitoring of cybersecurity controls. This includes analysing information, identifyingrisks and improvement opportunities, and contributing to reportingand advice for senior stakeholders. Other Conditions WA Health engages staff in positions oftrust and responsibility.
