Float Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team visiting locations between Seattle to Tacoma and surrounding areas.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, hours vary between 6:00am to 6:00pm, overtime and rotating weekends may be required Job Responsibilities:- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
- Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
- Travel to additional sites when needed, Reliable transportation required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have valid Washington issued Phlebotomy License or have application for Phlebotomy License filed with the Washington State Department of Health at time of hire.
- 1 or more years of experience working as a phlebotomist
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Must be 21 years of age and have a clean driving record
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Benefits: Regular, full-time or part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), accrue up to 18 days of Annual Leave per year (includes 8 holidays) and Sick Leave (0.0333) hours of sick leave for each hour of work) capped at 64 hours per year, Tuition Reimbursement and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
