Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to restore function and mobility
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans and discharge plans of care
• Document patient services accurately and in a timely manner
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs per state practice acts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
• Active Maryland Physical Therapy license or ability to obtain one
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
• Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs

Education

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient evaluation and functional mobility assessments
• Treatment planning and therapeutic exercise
• Accurate documentation and compliance with regulations
• Clear communication and patient education
• Team collaboration and supervision of support staff
