In this role, you'll drive on-time performance for SRS and Catalog production by partnering closely with Supervisors, VDC, Buyers/Planners, Customer Care, and branch teams to align material lead times with the schedule. You'll own day-to-day scheduling, project tracking in Mendix, and fabrication correspondence — turning cross-functional coordination into on-time, on-spec deliveries from the shop floor to the customer.WHAT YOU'LL BUILD & OWNScheduling & MeetingsAttend all facility meetings and ensure information flows into Mendix and to SupervisorsOwn facility schedules as the direct contact for Planning/Scheduling Supervisor/ManagerWork with Buyers/Planners and coordinate with the Production Supervisor on current and upcoming schedules, including labor needsAttend weekly Production and Planning meetingsProject CoordinationCoordinate with VDC, Fab Material Coordinator, Sales, Customer Care, and branch on upcoming projects and material lead timesSchedule projects and ensure they're built to drawing specifications within MendixCoordinate with Production Supervisor, Training, and Engineering on special upcoming projects, flagging specialty needs as they ariseAddress project issues within Mendix and work with parties to resolve themWork with leads on upcoming projects/catalog, shop demand by day/week/month, project kickoff checklists, project closeouts, and daily updatesOwn On Time Performance for SRS and CatalogComplete Mendix BOM to BPCS order checks, coordinating with VDC/Customer CareReview upcoming projects to ensure master data is completeData & SystemsFollow project orders through Victaulic's ERP system, QlikView, Qlik Sense Profound, and Mendix, working closely with VDC, Customer Care, and branch management to get material to the right place at the right timeReview daily runtime data in Mendix, watching for outliers and errorsWork with the MFG Admin on runtimes and data entry needsServe as the Mendix help deskFabrication & CorrespondenceHandle all fabrication correspondence and updates to respective parties, including coordinating truck schedulingReceive all fabrication Purchase Orders in BPCSGenerate all fabrication BOLs using the BOL GeneratorCreate and print fabrication labelsBranch & InventoryRelease orders per schedule for pickingManage all BPCS-related items: pipe inventory adjustments, one-steps after shipments, allocation checks, and print/reset ordersEnsure consumable inventory is maintained and replenished, escalating critical supply needs to managementConduct Kanban card auditsManage catalog inventory: adjustments, ATOs, KB audits, and coordinating inventory transfersWHAT YOU BRINGHigh School Diploma or equivalencyFamiliarity with SWI/SOP processesGood written and oral communication skillsAbility to work independently, efficiently, self-motivated, and detail orientedWHAT SETS YOU APARTExperience in a manufacturing/steel fabrication environmentComputer literacy of Microsoft Windows softwareGood understanding of shop math (fraction to decimal) and the ability to read a tape measure and measuring tools (caliper, micrometers, vernier scale)Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprintsGood problem-solving capabilitiesWHAT WE OFFERBuild A Better CareerCompetitive compensation with performance-based incentivesCareer development programs and internal promotion pathways—we build from withinTuition reimbursement and continuous learning opportunitiesBuild A Better FutureComprehensive health, dental, and vision coverageRetirement savings plans with company matchLife insurance and disability coverageBuild A Better YouPaid time off, holidays, and flexible work arrangements where applicableEmployee Assistance Programs (EAP) and wellness resourcesInclusive, team-oriented culture where people look out for one anotherBuild A Better WorldJoin a company whose products contribute to a safer, more sustainable built environment every day.IMMIGRATION SPONSORSHIPThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
