As a Press Assistant, you play a key role in supporting the setup, operation, changeover, and maintenance of flexographic printing presses. You’ll work side‑by‑side with the Press Operator to keep production running safely, efficiently, and with minimal waste—helping ensure every job is set up for success. Schedule & Compensation Starting Pay: $20.00/hour + 6% shift premium ($21.20/hour) $2,000 sign‑on bonus Day Shift: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Thursday–Saturday, every other Sunday No swing or rotating shifts Responsibilities Support the Press Operator during press setup, operation, and changeovers to minimize waste and downtime Prepare for upcoming jobs by staging ink, plates, cores, and materials Retrieve ink from inventory and assist with cutting and preparing cores as needed Perform general cleaning and empty waste bins to maintain an organized work area Follow all GMP and safety requirements Assist with routine press maintenance and support efficient production workflows Coordinate daily responsibilities with the Operator to keep production running on schedule Perform other duties as assigned to support press and production operations Qualifications Prior experience not required; training will be provided Work effectively in an active team environment Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds Basic color differentiation skills Basic math skills and ability to read a ruler to 1/32 of an inch Benefits Open, communicative environment that fosters individual initiative Growth opportunities and career advancement Total compensation includes comprehensive medical/dental programs, life insurance, generous paid time off, and a retirement savings plan with company match Benefits start on the first day of employment with no waiting period Pro Mach, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
