Job Description: The Opportunity Hybrid cloud is at the heart of HPE's strategy. Customers want the cloud experience, cloud economics and as-a-service (AAS) flexibility, on-premises and under their control. HPE is uniquely positioned to deliver this through HPE GreenLake Flex Solutions and our Hybrid Cloud software and IP. We are looking for a transformational sales leader to run the Worldwide Hybrid Cloud Solutions sales organization: around 500 sales and presales professionals, with more than $2B in orders. This is a rare chance to reshape how HPE sells hybrid cloud. You will move the business from selling consumption solutions to selling complete Hybrid Cloud solutions, spanning hybrid cloud operations software, sovereign cloud and private cloud, including private cloud for AI, and scale a software-attached, recurring-revenue motion across every geo. Key Responsibilities Lead the transformation. Define and drive the multi-year transformation of the WW Hybrid Cloud Solutions sales motion, covering skills, coverage, sales plays, operating rhythm and culture, to accelerate AAS and software growth. Own the number. Deliver more than $2B in orders with profitable growth, and stay accountable for revenue, margin, pipeline creation and forecast across nine geos. Lead a global team at scale. Lead, develop and inspire around 500 sales and presales professionals through Geo HCS leaders. Build a high-performance culture, a strong bench and robust succession plans. Win with AAS. Drive the GreenLake Flex Solutions motion end to end: deal shaping, commercial and pricing models, contract structures and disciplined execution through CPQ and deal desk processes. Grow software. Ensure Geo teams own Software execution and forecast in their markets, working in close partnership with the WW Software leadership, which keeps worldwide Software accountability. Drive software attach and create new Software opportunities, including in net-new and hunting accounts. Orchestrate the matrix. Lead Geo tiger teams with Compute, Channel and other HPE businesses. Work in close alignment with the Business Units, Geo leadership, Partners, CSP and GSI teams to land large, complex hybrid cloud pursuits. Partner with Hybrid Cloud Operations. Work hand in hand with Hybrid Cloud Operations, a critical enabler of our transformation, to scale deal execution, commercial excellence and customer outcomes. Run the business with rigor. Set coverage models, quotas and goals. Drive pipeline discipline, accurate forecasting, productivity and a consistent operating cadence across geos. Be the executive face to customers. Build trusted C-level relationships with strategic customers and partners. Sponsor key pursuits and represent HPE Hybrid Cloud in the market. Shape the strategy. Act as a member of the WW Hybrid Cloud Sales leadership team. Bring the voice of the customer and the field into go-to-market, offer and investment decisions. What Success Looks Like Sustained growth in orders, AAS (GreenLake Flex) and software, with healthy margins Strong pipeline creation, including new logos and software opportunities beyond the installed base Consistent, predictable execution and forecast across all nine geos A transformed, engaged sales organization with stronger skills, talent and leadership bench What You Bring Proven transformation leader: a track record of leading large-scale sales transformations in complex, global, matrixed organizations. Global leadership at scale: 15+ years in enterprise technology, including significant experience leading international or worldwide sales and presales organizations of several hundred people, preferably in a specialist or overlay model. AAS and commercial acumen: a deep understanding of as-a-service, subscription and recurring-revenue business models, pricing and deal structuring. Experience selling AAS on-premises is a strong plus. Operational rigor: strong operational discipline across CPQ, deal desk, pipeline management, forecasting and sales operations. Hybrid cloud and software expertise: a solid grasp of hybrid cloud, infrastructure, data, AI and software. Experience with companies such as Nutanix, NetApp, Pure Storage, VMware/Broadcom, Dell or the hyperscalers is valued. Executive presence: credibility with C-level customers, partners and internal executives, and the ability to influence without direct authority. People leader: a record of attracting, developing and retaining top talent and building diverse, high-performing teams across cultures. Job: Sales Job Level: Vice President The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. - United States of America: Annual Salary USD 555,000 - 1,105,000 in California // 555,000 - 1,105,000 in Texas This range reflects the minimum to maximum combined base and target-level sales compensation that would be paid if the hire performs at 100% of their sales plan. Of that on-target pay amount, the mix of base salary and target-level sales compensation is 60%/40%.
