Job Description: A Progressive Care Unit nurse (PCU nurse) has a unique job of caring for patients as they transition from the ICU. A progressive care nurse works in a hospital. A PCU nurse specializes in the medical treatment and surgery of patients with needs that are too complicated for a regular hospital floor, but do not require admission to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Client Details Setting: Hospital City: Rapid City State: SD Zip Code: 57701 Cancellation Policy: Client is limited to thirty-six (36) hours per thirteen (13) week assignment for Low Census Call Off. Low Census Call Off is defined as terminating a specific shift for an Assigned Professional due to low census at the Client facility. Client must attempt to provide at least two (2) hours' notice prior to any Low Census Call Off.
