Medical Director

Overview Director of Recruiting / Partner at SQRL. Are you a Physician/MD looking to pivot into Clinical Research? This role is based in Birmingham, AL, with a focus on leading clinical trials and recruitment for a multi-site network. Must-have qualifications Must be a certified MD or Physician in the state of Alabama A valid medical degree with at least 3 years of experience as a licensed physician/MD Active medical practitioner registration in good standing and with unrestricted ability to practice in the work location Willingness to relocate or commute to be on-site in Birmingham, AL Responsibilities Oversee multiple trials across diverse disease states, including cutting-edge research trials. Execute the clinical study protocol, delegate tasks to site operations staff, ensure compliance with FDA, ICH, NIH, GCPs, HIPAA, study protocols, and company policies. Provide overall site leadership to enhance efficiencies, patient safety, and protocol/regulatory compliance. Evaluate and enroll eligible participants; participate in delivery and retention of study participants. Collaborate with sponsors, clients, and team members; maintain accurate data and adhere to protocol guidelines. Lead protocol training for staff; participate in Investigator Meetings (IMs) and continuing education to stay current on recruitment issues. Perform other duties as assigned to support participant needs, protocols, and company requirements.
