BARTENDER

Bartender-Fine Dining

To ensure high levels of hospitality every time you are in contact with guests. To be attentive to guest needs at all times. To be responsible for having a high level of product knowledge regarding all menu items which includes both liquor and all beverages.

Primarily to Front of the House operations management with an equal standard of respect and professionalism to the BOH management team (chefs).

Hourly Non-Exempt

Minimum Wage Beverly Hills + % of the Tip Pool

Provides professional and exceptional food and beverage service at the bar.

Provide prompt, professional, friendly, and personalized service to our guests.

Provides help and support to all colleagues.

Possesses in-depth knowledge of products, menus, food, beverages, wines, and general information about the company.

Communicates to FOH and BOH support staff including managers and chef.

Properly set up stations.

Performs and completes all side work as described.

Records and places proper orders in Toast.

Delivers beverages to guests.

Listens to guests and anticipates their needs.

Respond to guests' questions and their needs.

Proper serving of wine and alcohol (with awareness/ RBS training knowledge).

Presentations and reconciliations of checks.

Collects cash from guests/performs and services.

Overtime when or as needed approved or directed by management

Prolonged periods of standing, bending, sitting, kneeling

Working in an indoor/ outdoor location (subject to weather changes& varying temperatures)

Lifting equipment up to 50 pounds (when necessary)

Work in different spaces of the restaurant (mainly behind the bar area or open dining area)

Portrays a positive and professional attitude.

Always smiles and greets guests warmly and genuinely.

Works as part of a team.

Responsible for clearing, restocking, and resetting bar.

Executes closing procedures and side work.

Completes accurate closing financial paperwork.

Attends and participates in daily pre-shift meetings.

Communicate to management thoughts, comments, suggestions, and questions of daily operations, quality of food/beverages, guest comments, and daily specials.

1-2 years of beverage knowledge and bartending.

Previous hospitality experience preferred.

Experience in a high volume fine dining or upscale nightlife setting is a must.
