Duties/Responsibilities: Assist experienced machinists with machining operations and component production. Operate common hand tools and basic shop equipment safely. Learn basic machining principles, shop procedures, and quality standards. Perform assigned tasks using detailed instructions and established work procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Support production goals while following all company safety policies. Required Skills/Abilities: Basic mechanical aptitude. Ability to read measuring devices and follow written instructions. Willingness to learn machining practices. Strong attention to detail and communication skills. Preferred Skills/Abilities: Exposure to manufacturing or machining. Basic blueprint familiarity. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED. 0–3 years of machining experience. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods. Frequently stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift. Frequently lift materials and safely operate machinery. Additional Job Information: Typical Shift: 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday.
