American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for a travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and left-handed scanning ability. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of echo/cardiac sonography experience required Left-handed scanning ability is required for this position Active professional licensure required, if applicable Copies of relevant certifications required for consideration Responsibilities Cardiac sonography / echocardiography unit in an acute care hospital setting Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Every other weekend required for coverage No call required Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed 12-week contract length First-time travelers are not accepted for this position Travelers must have been away from all facilities in this health system for a minimum of 1 full year before returning as a traveler Local candidates are accepted RTO maximum of 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them, with one holiday RTO request eligible for review Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day No alternate shifts or special schedule requests are permitted; the listed shift is firm Full compliance is required to begin on time; late compliance may result in a start date delay Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr Newsandtribune
