Now Hiring: Residential Assistant Manager | Pride Health
Pride Health is actively seeking an experienced and compassionate Residential Assistant Manager to join a community residential program supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). This is a great opportunity for professionals with strong Direct Support experience who are passionate about leadership, resident advocacy, and making a meaningful impact in the human services field.
As a Residential Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Residence Manager and leadership team to oversee daily residential operations, supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and help create a safe, supportive, and person-centered environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Support oversight of all daily residential operations
✔ Supervise and provide guidance to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
✔ Assist with staff scheduling and coverage needs
✔ Ensure compliance with OPWDD, state, and federal regulations
✔ Collaborate on individualized resident service and care plans
✔ Support medical coordination, appointments, medication administration, and documentation
✔ Maintain quality assurance standards, resident records, and program procedures
✔ Help enhance residents’ independence, well-being, and overall quality of life
✔ Participate in staff training, evaluations, and performance management
Schedule:
• Must work one weekend day per week
• Two consecutive days off:
▪ Friday/Saturday OR Sunday/Monday
• Day and evening shifts available:
▪ 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
▪ 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
▪ 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
▪ 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• No overnight shifts
✅ Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or HSE required
• 12–18 months of related experience
• 4–5 years of Direct Support experience required
• Experience working with OPWDD/DD populations preferred
• Knowledge of OPWDD regulations
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Supervisory experience in a residential setting preferred
• Valid NY State Tri-State Driver’s License in good standing preferred for most positions
