Process Engineer

Cullerton Group is hiring an Application / Process Engineer for a full-time opportunity near Charlotte, NC. This is a highly technical role combining water treatment process/system design with applications engineering, including RFQs/RFPs, proposals, costing, equipment selection, and customer support. What You’ll Do Design complete water treatment and filtration systems Review RFQs/RFPs and develop technical proposals, scopes, and pricing Perform hydraulic calculations, pressure-loss analysis, and equipment sizing Develop PFDs and support P&IDs, layouts, and system documentation Select pumps, valves, filters, instrumentation, materials, and other system components Develop BOMs, data sheets, cost models, and quote packages Work directly with customers, sales, engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing Support projects from initial application and proposal through manufacturing, testing, and delivery Provide technical presentations and product/application training What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent experience 3–5+ years of water treatment system design, process engineering, or technical applications engineering experience Hands‑on experience with water treatment/filtration systems Strong understanding of hydraulics, pressure loss, component sizing, and system integration Experience with PFDs/P&IDs and 3D CAD/design tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD Knowledge of pumps, valves, filters, tanks, sensors, instrumentation, and related process equipment Strong technical writing and customer‑facing communication skills Experience with filtration, reverse osmosis (RO), deionization (DI), or similar water-treatment technologies, along with previous experience supporting RFQs, proposals, costing, or engineered-system sales. 401(k) PTO & holiday pay Occasional travel – up to 10% #J-18808-Ljbffr Cullerton Group
