Become a vital part of our team as an experienced CT Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT imaging equipment in a hospital setting. This assignment supports patient care across diagnostic and urgent imaging needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years CT technologist experience.
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology or equivalent.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT or Radiography with CT credentialing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with multi-slice CT scanners and contrast administration protocols in an acute care hospital environment.
• Prior experience working variable shifts and flex schedules in a hospital setting preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Assignment length: 13 week assignment.
• Shift name: Flex Shifts.
• Shift pattern: Any 8 (variable; 5x8 coverage across 24-hour operation).
• Candidates should be prepared to work variable start times across days, evenings, nights, and weekends as required by clinical needs.

The city is near Blue Knob State Park, approximately 30 miles southwest, and a 45-minute drive to Allegheny Portage Railroad National Historic Site, offering hiking and historical interpretation. Altoona features the Horseshoe Curve National Historic Landmark within city limits and is a 1- to 2-hour drive to Laurel Ridge and Rothrock State Forests for mountain biking and trail hiking. The area supports a suburban lifestyle with regional dining and local cultural attractions, and it is within reasonable driving distance to larger urban centers such as Pittsburgh, approximately 90 miles west, providing rail and interstate transit connections for weekend travel.
