Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Contract positions are available both full-time (35 hours/week) and part-time, with assignments tailored to meet your preferences—most with a single-site caseload for focus and consistency.

Opportunities include placements in early childhood, elementary, and secondary settings, such as Gideons Old 4th Ward, Drew Pre-K, Barack and Michelle Obama Elementary, and more. Some part-time positions extend to unique settings like Atlanta Classical Charter and Atlanta Neighborhood Charter. Candidates passionate about serving diverse age groups and backgrounds—including bilingual SLPs—are especially encouraged.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Georgia Department of Education (DOE) Certification
• Current Georgia SLP license
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage caseloads of varying size and need
• Flexibility to work with a range of student abilities, including low incidence populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess speech, language, and communication disorders in students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain documentation
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions onsite
• Support transitional and ongoing student needs
