Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Tranport Driver for a local company in Cape Girardeau, MO.

Key Responsibilities

Operate company vehicles in a safe, courteous, and efficient manner
Transport passengers to designated locations on schedule
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and required documentation
Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and local/state regulations
Assist passengers with boarding, unloading, or handling items as needed
Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding routes, delays, or issues
Keep vehicles clean and presentable at all times

Qualifications

Valid Class E driver's license with a clean driving record
Previous driving or transportation experience preferred
Strong knowledge of local roads and navigation tools
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to provide friendly and professional customer service
Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally assist with light lifting

Work Environment & Schedule

Local routes only - home daily
Flexible schedule, including potential evenings, weekends, or holidays
Combination of independent work and team coordination with dispatch

Pay: $15.50/hr
