Travel Data Center Technician

Job Overview Maintain data center operations to ensure availability and reliability of service levels. Responsibilities Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs Root cause analysis of hardware and software failures Training of internal teams Development of documentation Provide technical support to data center teams Development of scripts to update server and networking hardware (Python, Bash) Maintain inventory Assemble and install equipment Perform maintenance of test and tools equipment Occasional travel to other data centers as needed Required Skills Data center operations and rack and stack Hardware troubleshooting and cable management Cisco IOS, Juniper Junos Python and Bash scripting Fiber optics Additional Qualifications Computer hardware experience (troubleshooting, assembling) Linux Operating System experience Physical requirements: lift up to 50 lbs and work in elevated locations Availability for a 24/7 environment with on‑call rotation and after‑hours support Excellent time‑management, organizational and communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks and react quickly to issues Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & Location Contract position based out of Wolfforth, TX. Pay and Benefits Pay range: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour.
