Senior Social Media Marketing Manager (United States)

Role Overview

We’re looking for a creative, results-driven Social Media Manager to own the planning, creation, publishing, growth, and performance of our social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

This role is focused on driving organic growth, increasing brand awareness, and generating revenue through engaging, high-performing social content.

You will be responsible for managing the content calendar, coordinating content from multiple teams, creating and editing content, and implementing strategies that consistently grow our audience and turn social media engagement into customers.

We’re looking for someone who can do more than maintain an active social presence. We want someone who understands how to build an engaged community, create content that performs, and translate social media activity into measurable business results.

What You'll Be Doing:

Content Calendar and Planning

• Own and manage the full social media content calendar
• Organize and schedule content across TikTok, Instagram, and FB
• Ensure consistent posting with no gaps or inconsistencies
• Plan and maintain a balanced mix of evergreen and campaign content

Content Coordination and Cohesion

• Bring together content from:
• Campaign marketing (launches, restocks, sales)
• UGC and influencer teams
• Graphic design
• Decide what content gets posted and in what order
• Ensure all content feels cohesive, on-brand, and aligned across platforms

Publish and Execution

• Schedule and publish all content across platforms
• Write and refine captions to align with brand voice
• Ensure all posts go live on time and support key business moments

Daily Social Presence

• Ensure Instagram Stories are posted consistently (daily) as well as reels/IG posts and Tiktok Videos
• Use stories to support launches, restocks, and general brand presence
• Maintain an active and engaging day-to-day presence
• Create opportunities that encourage customers to share and talk about the brand

Organic Growth & Audience Development

• Develop and execute strategies to consistently grow Orena’s social media following organically
• Identify opportunities to increase reach, visibility, engagement, and follower growth
• Create and implement content strategies designed to attract new audiences and convert viewers into followers
• Analyze content performance and continuously optimize strategies to accelerate organic growth
• Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm changes, and emerging growth opportunities

Campaign Support

• Support execution of launches, sales, and restocks by translating campaign direction into social content
• Coordinate supporting posts (reminders, countdowns, etc.)
• Ensure campaigns are properly reflected across social platforms

Evergreen Content Management

• Maintain consistent content flow between major campaigns
• Fill gaps with relevant, engaging evergreen content
• Keep the brand top of mind even outside of launches
• Brief internal or external designers on graphic content needs

Social Media Revenue & Conversion

• Develop and execute organic social media strategies that drive website traffic, product discovery, and sales
• Create and optimize content that encourages viewers to explore and purchase Orena products
• Identify opportunities to turn social media engagement into measurable revenue
• Incorporate product education, customer testimonials, social proof, and compelling calls to action into content strategies
• Work closely with marketing teams to support revenue goals during launches, restocks, promotions, and evergreen periods

Trend Awareness

• Stay up to date with TikTok and Instagram trends
• Identify relevant opportunities to participate in cultural moments and trending conversations and incorporate them into the content calendar when appropriate

Social Media Coordination

• Plan and execute giveaways and engagement-driven initiatives
• Support content formats that encourage audience interaction
• Stay ahead of key moments such as Women’s Day, Fragrance Day, Mental Health Awareness campaigns, and other culturally relevant dates

Social Media Reporting & Performance Analysis

• Track and report on social media performance across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
• Provide consistent weekly and monthly performance reports covering reach, engagement, follower growth, content performance, and overall account growth
• Identify top-performing and underperforming content and explain what’s driving the results
• Use performance insights to make recommendations and continuously improve content strategy
• Monitor progress toward social media growth and engagement goals

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years managing social media for a DTC/e-commerce brand (beauty or fragrance preferred)
• Proven track record of driving organic follower growth and increasing engagement on Instagram and TikTok
• Demonstrated experience using organic social media to drive website traffic, conversions, and revenue
• Strong content creation and short-form video editing skills
• Experience developing and executing social media growth strategies
• Strong understanding of social media analytics, performance reporting, and data-driven optimization
• Ability to balance engaging, entertaining content with product-focused, conversion-driven content
• Strong understanding of what makes content perform organically on TikTok and Instagram
• Excellent organizational skills, creativity, and attention to detail
