Associate Wealth Advisor / Financial Planning Associate

ClearGuide Wealth is looking for an Associate Wealth Advisor or Financial Planning Associate to join a growing independent wealth management practice focused on tax intelligent financial planning, investment management, and long term client relationships.

This role is ideal for someone early in their advisory career who has strong planning instincts, enjoys client service, and wants a clear path toward becoming a lead advisor.

About the Role

You will work directly with the lead advisor and client service team to support planning, investment, and client relationship work. The position will involve preparing financial plans, helping organize client meetings, following through on planning recommendations, coordinating with CPAs and other professionals, and improving the overall client experience.

This is not a sales first role. It is a planning and service role for someone who wants to build technical depth, develop client communication skills, and grow into greater advisory responsibility over time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update financial plans, retirement projections, and planning summaries.
• Help identify planning opportunities related to taxes, retirement income, Roth conversions, charitable giving, estate planning, insurance, and employer retirement plans.
• Support client meetings by preparing agendas, notes, follow up items, and planning deliverables.
• Coordinate with CPAs, attorneys, custodians, TPAs, and other outside professionals.
• Assist with investment proposals, account reviews, portfolio implementation, and client onboarding.
• Use advisor technology to keep client information, planning assumptions, and workflows accurate and current
• Help create a consistent, high quality client experience

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in financial planning, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• CFP® professional, or actively pursuing the CFP® designation
• Two to five years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, client service, or paraplanning
• Experience preparing financial plans or supporting client meetings
• Strong attention to detail and follow through
• Comfortable communicating with clients and professional partners
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple open items
• Interested in tax aware planning and comprehensive wealth management
• Wants a long term path toward becoming a lead advisor

Helpful Experience

• MoneyGuidePro, Holistiplan, Redtail, Wealthscape, Envestnet, or similar advisor technology
• Retirement income planning
• Tax planning support
• Estate planning coordination
• Employer retirement plans, including 401(k), SEP IRA, SIMPLE IRA, profit sharing, or cash balance plans
• Equity compensation planning, including RSUs, ISOs, NSOs, and ESPPs
