Start Date: June 22, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: 5x8 Day shifts, Monday through Friday with every other weekend or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule. Shift times vary between 0700-1530, 0730-1600, 0800-1630, or 0830-1700. Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period. Assignment duration is 13 weeks (91 days).

Highlights:

• Work at a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital with 407 staffed beds
• Manage a caseload of approximately 50 patients focused on discharge planning and care coordination
• Reduced non-billable orientation of 24 hours instead of standard 40 hours
• Epic electronic medical record system used for charting
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams
• Free parking provided at the facility

Requirements:

• Active Alaska RN license in hand required for immediate consideration
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Acute care hospital experience required (behavioral health experience does not qualify)
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification preferred
• ACM-RN (Accredited Case Manager) certification preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted)
