Job Description
The Kitchen Worker plays a vital role in supporting kitchen operations within a medium-sized team of 6-10 members at a fast-paced pizza restaurant. Reporting directly to the Kitchen Manager, this role involves basic food preparation and intermediate cooking tasks, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, and working collaboratively to ensure timely order fulfillment and quality food production. The position offers limited advancement opportunities and no travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to set standards and recipes
- Assist with basic and intermediate cooking tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen
- Collaborate effectively with a medium-sized kitchen team (6-10 members)
- Support timely order fulfillment to enhance customer service experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in kitchen operations
- No formal education required
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and sanitation practices
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective time management and communication skills
- Commitment to providing quality customer service
